Stop spinning and make a f'ckn decision.

Are you finding it easier to make decisions when every decision is the right one?

Or perhaps you notice your brain trying to convince you that there's still a chance that there could be a wrong choice?

When our brain does this “to do or not to” dance, we not only waste time but we also waste our energy!

Before I learned how to make decisions with confidence, I spun.

I spun in confusion, always worried about doing something wrong and then having to fix it after.

I was mentally exhausted from all the thinking.

I had no idea the amount of impact it had on my life to be indecisive.

What I didn’t understand was that the exhaustion from the “to do or not to” dance was actually causing me long-term discomfort.  

It drove me to waste more time and energy.

My indecisiveness kept me safe and comfortable from the unknown of the future, but it wasn’t actually satisfying my desire for more which could only come from my future.

This is why it’s time for you to stop spinning, stop feeling exhausted and MAKE A F’CKN DECISION!

HERE’S HOW...

What if there were no wrong or right decisions?  Just decisions (without making it mean that something bad or good will come out of it.) 

You can decide right now to believe that all decisions help all involved grow and evolve.

Think about the BEST case scenario for each of your choices - Option A and B.  

Take a moment and answer the following questions to guide you.  

BEWARE!  Your brain is going to tell you, you don’t have time to answer questions but remember - how much time you’ve already wasted?  Why not give yourself a chance to try a different approach?

  1. If everything goes the way you hope them to and nothing goes wrong - both Option A + B, what would happen for you?
  2. What kind of wins would you achieve after this happens?
  3. What actions would you have to take in order for that to happen?
  4. What would you have to believe and feel in order for that to happen?
  5. What would you have learned about yourself?  
  6. How would you be different than you are now?
  7. Now that you’ve painted a picture of the best case scenarios for both your choices,  who would you want to be in the end? Who do you choose to be? Option A or B?
For those of you who are keen on believing that there is always a wrong choice, here’s an approach for you to try on.

Think about the WORST case scenario for each of your choices - Option A and B.  
  1. If everything doesn’t go the way you hope them to and everything goes wrong - both Option A + B, what would happen for you?
  2. What kind of obstacles would you confront after this happens?
  3. What actions (in your control) or strategies could you take afterwards to make it better or repair the situation?  
  4. What would you have to believe and feel in order for that to happen?
  5. What would you have learned about yourself?  
  6. How would you be different than you are now?
  7. Now that you’ve painted a picture of the worst case scenarios for both your choices,  who would you want to be in the end? Who do you choose to be? Option A or B?

Both approaches offers you an opportunity to plan ahead no matter what happens.

It helps to silent the mind drama around making a decision.

What you’re essentially telling your brain is “It’s OK, I’ve got this, I know what could happen and I’m ready for it.”

No more questions, no confusion, just answers.
