Stop Trying So Hard

I wasn’t enough.

Ever since I could remember, I was always trying hard to improve myself.

I had to be better than I am now.

If something didn’t work... I had to fix it!

Fix my jobs, boyfriends, homes, cities etc.

Trying hard to fix my life was exhausting!

It was not until I learned how to change my mind about my life, did everything fall into place with ease.

But my self-deprecating mind didn’t want me to be at ease.

When things got easier, my ego mind started to tell me LIES...

  • “There’s more to work on.”
  • “It shouldn’t be this easy.”
  • “I should be working harder to get what I want.”
  • “There should be sacrifice.”
I started to feel guilty for having more ease in my life.

So what did I do?

I listened to the “you should” voice and went back to TRYING HARD and making my life difficult.

I headed straight back to wasting time in confusion, doubt and being in lack.

Can you relate?

TRUTH

The definition for TRYING is “difficult or annoying, hard to endure.”

To TRY at something is to “make an attempt or effort to do something.”

Trying always comes from doubt, scarcity and A LOT OF EFFORT.

It’s exhausting!

It’s not useful and serves no purpose in this world.

Here’s what I would like to propose:

Drop the word TRYING altogether.

You are either doing the thing or you’re not.

You have either left work or you haven't.

You have either lost the weight or you haven't.

There is no trying.

Shift your mindset to “it can be easy and I can be at ease.”

Easy doesn’t mean being lazy.

It means being intentional and to take action without it being trying or hard.

We get to choose what we want to believe.

I choose ease.

Are you with me?

Be your whole hearted you XO,
