LIFE LESSONS FROM SKIING PART II

I am still reflecting on my skiing experience and creating awareness to apply what I learned the past couple of weeks.  Last week, I invited you to free your mind and allow your body to do what it’s built to do, to adapt according to its external environment.  Our body is so incredible so let’s give it some support, love and space it requires!

This week I’d like to add to that concept and offer this...

UPHILL = PAST
SKIING = PRESENT
DOWNHILL = FUTURE

When we’re skiing we don’t want to look uphill because that’s in the past, it’s already happened!  It’s not going to take us where we need to go. What we want to do is BE PRESENT, skiing, feeling the body’s ability to move with the mountain, but also look downhill.  We want to look ahead just far enough for us to envision our ultimate outcome, the future, or where we want to be.

The same concept applies to our life.

The best place to be is in the present moment.

Looking at our past won’t create our future.  Don’t look back, unless it’s to see how far you’ve come.  Visualizing where we want to be in the future, setting goals, will get us there.  Free those self-limiting thoughts. Show up, be present and live freely!

YOU ARE MORE CAPABLE THAN YOU THINK!

BE THE LIGHT | You show up every day making an impact in someone else's life in some shape or form, even if you are not aware of it.  Please share the love & share the video/post with anyone you think might benefit from this.  Thank you for bringing LIGHT to possible darkness. #bethelight
